Immigration Law
Immigration laws are government policies which dictate regulations regarding migration to a certain country. In the US, a lot of people have been trying to migrate because of business opportunities, job opportunities, marriage, family and whatever reason they may have. With all these people wanting to go to the US, the USCIS is constantly reviewing their policies regarding migration to help people in their migration processes.
The Immigration and Nationality Act or INA was stipulated in 1952. The INA of 1952 is the first organized and centralized US immigration Act which was organized by the McCarran-Walter bill of the said year. This is the basic body of law for immigration processing. It has been revised many times over the years but still is faithful to the very first collated INA.
The INA is divided into chapters which further stipulates certain requirements for different kinds of migration processes for different countries. This Act also contains a compendium of laws dealing with “Aliens and Nationality” in the US.
